Little Red Riding Hood Picking Flowers
One sunny day, Little Red Riding Hood decided to go outside and play. She was running through the fields, chasing butterflies, and enjoying the sun shine. While running through the fields she found more and more beautiful flowers. Little Red Riding Hood remembered her mother telling her that her grandma was sick. So Little Red Riding Hood decided to pick a bunch of flowers and take them to her grandma's house in a village near by.
While picking the flowers Little Red Riding Hood noticed a gray animal off in the distance. Earlier that day her neighbor had lost their dog. She decided to go and catch him and return him to his home. When she got closer she realized that it was not their dog, it was a wolf! As quiet as she could she turned around to get out of there with out the wolf noticing her. She was trying her hardest to be quiet and go fast all at the same time. Luckily she was pretty close to the village her grandma lived in.
Finally she was a few steps away from her grandma's village when all of a sudden her grandma's neighbor yelled, "watch out there is a wolf right behind you!"
Quickly she turned around to see him staring her in the eyes. She was slowly walking backwards trying not to make him mad. "Find someone to shot this animal" Little Red Riding Hood yelled at the neighbor.
"Are you serious?" the neighbor questioned. "These animals are endangered species."
"I know, but he is going to kill me don't you see his teeth showing," Little Red Riding Hood stated firmly.
"I will call Fish and Game to come and trap him", the neighbor decided.
"We don't have time for that", Little Red Riding Hood stated in fear. "Please shot him, please!"
Little Red Riding Hood was afraid to turn her back to him so she kept walking backwards trying to get away from the wolf. The wolf was not going anywhere, he was after her. After a few more steps backwards, Little Red Riding Hood let out a scream. The wolf had his two front feet up in the air ready to attack, then BANG. The wolf landed on top of Little Red Riding Hood with no life left in him.
A woodsman off in the distance heard her scream looked up just in time to see him up in the air about to attack her. The man came over grabbed the wolf off of her and stood her up.
"Thank you so much for saving my life", Little Red Riding Hood said thankfully. "My grandma's neighbor does not like to shot the wolves."
"Your welcome. I am just so glad I was on my way home when I was or you would have been wolf supper" the woodsman stated.

The moral of this story is, sometimes when someone is in danger, even the endangered species need to be controlled. If all the elk and deer are getting hard for the wolf to find they will move on to killing other things. They can not wait for the elk and deer to reproduce just to eat, they need food too. So when there are too many wolves in one area, it is hard for them all to get enough food. That is why I think there needs to be a regulated hunting season.

With numbers they way they are now according to Fish and Game's website the number of wolf tags to be offered would be awful low. So low I have a hard time seeing a hunt of wolves with only 50 or so tags being let out. You have to understand that for every tag Fish and Game gives out they are by law required to assume that, that number of animals will be killed. Even as unfeasible as that may sound. So I don't think hunts are smart because it isn't a reasonable use of Fish and Games budget.
Wolves have natural predators too. There are brown and black bears in the same areas as the wolves competing for the same food sources. Bears are know to run same groups of wolves off a kill and that is the equivocal to predator. I guess my point is you're wrong.
I hope you're who i have to write to but you didn't get the Donnie Darko reference or understand skanking so I'm not hurt flat out saying you're wrong.
Yeah So I think that I will agree with you abou the story that you just told about the wolves. If it came down to either me being an animals meal or me breaking the law to save my own skin I would do it. I would kill that wolf so fast it would make your head spin. I think that They are just a dumb dog any way, and I see my life as being more valuable than a wolf's. Basically I don't care what happens to the wolves in Idaho, the kind that we have here that were reintroduced were not even the native species. The ones that live here are Canadian greys, and they never were native to this area so they really are an infestation that is being kept safe by all the environmentalist, crazies.
Casey, I don't think anyone is wrong. Everyone has their own opinion about the situation. Fish and Game would not have to add to their budget, they are already keeping track of all the wolves right now as best they can. I have been hunting in the same area for about 10 years, the wolves have taken over that area we did not see one elk or deer this season and we saw very few last year. The wolves are over populated and the bears are not able to run them all off. (I did not mean to offend you in my comment I left. I just did not understand it sorry.)
Nick, thanks for the agreement. Yeah, I think they should have a least brought back the native wolves instead of a non native wolf.
